Haute Couture

Most people don't associate the word "Haute Couture" with Cincinnati- some might not even know what it means.

Google it and this is what you will find: "Haute couture (French for "high sewing" or "high dressmaking"; pronounced [oːt kutyʁ]) refers to the creation of exclusive custom-fitted clothing. Haute couture is made to order for a specific customer, and it is usually made from high-quality, expensive fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish, often using time-consuming, hand-executed techniques."


I had the chance to work with Kristen Bolt a Cincinnati Fashion (Bridal) designer.

Trash the Dress Sessions are becoming more and more popular- Whether you want to jump in a fountain and play around or have a food fight with yourself or your husband and you and have a fun beautiful-trash session I'm your girl!!

That is Hello in Korean!
One of my best friends since 6th grade Mr Hetterichs class Nicole, moved to Korea to teach for a year. I was going through my images from years ago when I photographed her and from just recently and I thought I would post a few. Nicole was a bridesmaid of mine, best friend, grilled cheese tomato soup lover like me, hanky panky makin fool and fish log eatin with her family, travelin buddy!! I miss her everyday and I thank whoever invented the internet so I can keep in touch with her. I think I actually talk to her more now than I did when she lived 15 mins from me!! I have learned to not take friends and loved ones for granted- you never know when they are going to be 14 hours away!!! This is for you Nicole: 사랑해요 ( i love you) & 나는 당신을 놓친다 ( i miss you )

Friends from all over come to me for their headshots-whether it be for acting, dance, resumes, or themselves. In this blog you'll meet Angela an aspiring actress and Micah (one of my oldest childhood friends) who is a dancer on cruiseships. Both are beautiful girls and I wish them the best in their lives!!!!

more amazing couples I was blessed with the chance to photograph...

Matt and Karen- they were so much fun to photograph and hang out with on a chilly day. We went to a bunch of fun places out in the country!! They are getting married in December of 2009. Karen is going to be a gorgeous bride- I can't wait to see the look on Matts face when he sees her for the first time :) ::goosebumps::

Mike and Megan- what can I say I love these two! They are so much fun to hang out with. Megan and Ray are in the same grade and we all went to school together. They are getting married on July 18th and I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Megan has a killer dress and I'm so excited to photograph her in it! She has a contagious smile that you can't help to fall in love with! Mike you're a lucky guy!

Engagement Recap 2008

once upon a time.... I met all of these couples through all different circumstances- each and every one of them mean so much to me its insane! I have truly been blessed with the most amazing, loving couples ever. Heres a sneak peek into my engagement sessions from last year!
Sam and Kevin/ Brooke and Chris (my Ben-Gal girls)

Brooke, Chris and I spent the day at Chris' childhood home- his mother is an amazing gardner- I admire a woman with a green thumb because I definitely don't have one :)

Sam and Kevin- where do I start- They are both some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Thankfully god has brought the two of them to Cincinnati to give me the chance to meet them, get to know them and PHOTOGRAPH them :)

We spent time at Union Terminal, Newport, and here is the Purple People Bridge. Sam is from Cali so we wanted to show some of Cincinnati off to her family in her photographs- Good Luck on planning and have an amazing wedding in MALIBU!!
